Airport increases it's annual contribution to the Trust Fund
The Airport has now agreed to increase its contribution to the Community
Trust Fund from £100K to £150K, members of MACC and the Trust Fund were
delighted to hear the news which will enable the Fund to make even greater

BBC Launches a new programme at Manchester Airport
BBC TV is to offer a new 10-week series from Friday 29 July (1900-2000), called Departure Slot and filmed at Manchester Airport. The programme is intended to provide entertainment, take-away information, top-tips and advice in a consumer-friendly magazine style format and will be co-hosted by Nick Knowles, CBBC presenter Angelica Bell and The Independent’s Simon Calder. A purpose-built set has been constructed in Manchester Airport’s terminal where the programme will be put together on the previous Wednesday.
